Marina Carman

DIRECTOR, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

Marina Carman is an executive leader with a background in public health research and health promotion, and extensive experience across family and gender-based violence prevention and response.

She was previously an Executive Director at Safe and Equal, where she led policy, programs, system design and communications to strengthen sector capability and support systemic reform.

Marina brings deep expertise in government relations, policy engagement, sector collaboration and evidence-informed reform, with a strong focus on research translation and systems change. She was previously Director of Rainbow Health Australia and a policy research fellow at Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. She is also a board director at Eating Disorders Victoria.
