Violence against women and children affects everybody. It impacts on the health, wellbeing and safety of a significant proportion of Australians throughout all states and territories and places an enormous burden on the nation’s economy across family and community services, health and hospitals, income-support and criminal justice systems.

I am a ...

Media representative

ANROWS can assist with accurate reporting around domestic, family and sexual violence; offer expert advice; and be available for interviews.

ANROWS is a not-for-profit independent national research organisation established to produce, disseminate and assist in applying evidence for policy and practice addressing violence against women and their children.

We conduct in-house research and we engage Australia’s most eminent researchers through external grants. To support the take-up of evidence, we produce policy and practice papers, videos and other resources; convene seminars and conferences, and joint initiatives with state and territory governments; and meet regularly with policymakers and practitioners.
