It impacts on the health, wellbeing and safety of a significant proportion of Australians throughout all states and territories and places an enormous burden on the nation’s economy across family and community services, health and hospitals, income-support and criminal justice systems.

Events Officer

ANROWS is seeking an Events Officer, who will be responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of the ANROWS events program, including the biennial conference, the ongoing webinar program and partner engagement-related events.

ANROWS encourages applications from suitably qualified people of diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or those who have significant knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family structure, culture and customs, LGBTIQ+, people with disability, people with caring responsibilities, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

This is a 1.0 FTE position (37.5 hours per week), reporting to the Director, Evidence to Action, and is located at the ANROWS national office in Sydney CBD. The appointment is initially for a period of (2) two years.

The salary range for this position is $89,993 to $95,481 per annum plus 11% employer contributions to the employee’s chosen superannuation fund.  ANROWS staff are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave (and Christmas shutdown period on top of this), in addition to a range of other leave entitlements.
